WELCOME TO THE

heather o'steen photography

Hey there and welcome to the blog!  I'm Heather, a lover of Chik-Fil-A, the ocean, anything with stripes and all things ballet!  I am a dance and portrait photographer based in the Baltimore, MD area.  This blog is where I share my latest photo sessions, tips on photography, some of my amateur attempts at home organizing and decorating, and just some fun things we want to remember as the ordinary days of family life go by. This blog has become a scrapbook of my children's lives!  Take a look around and you might see my little girls all the way back in 2007, as well as the progression of my photography business since then too!  So glad to have you here and I look forward to chatting with you!

That’s the kind of friend Jess & Livia are for me! We spent many years together attending dance competitions, summer […]

My little Boo and I recently took […]

Over the past year I have lost my grandmother and my stepmother. Even though they were both somewhat expected, it has been much harder than I thought it would be.  I recently stopped to buy some early Mother’s Day cards before I took a quick trip to Florida.  Standing in the aisle at Target I […]

Hannah had her final birthday celebration in FL at her Papa and Nana’s house. She was so lucky to have every one of her grandparents there to celebrate, and silly Mom forgot to get a picture of her with all her grandparents together. She had three grandfathers, and three grandmothers and one great grandmother all […]

This is kind of a long story, it begins with Emily and I out shopping today. She “chose” her own Easter dress when I was grocery shopping at BJ’s. It’s kinda funny. She just hopped off the cart, grabbed the dress and threw it in the cart, and hopped right back on.. I just […]
