MAJESTIC OAKS
I grew up playing under these amazing oak trees. Aren’t they beautiful? I never appreciated the beauty of these trees when I was there, but I sure miss the moss covered Florida oaks. This is the backyard of my dad’s house in Gainesville. Some of these trees have been dated back 400 years by the University of Florida. It was so nice and relaxing to sit out under these majestic trees (and eat some boiled peanuts). It was fun to explore with Emily in all the places I played when I was her age.
